THERE is no other word that can describe the joy when the winners hold up their trophies at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards presentation ceremony — the best international platform for developers to prove their projects of excellence to the world.
The FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence, which is being organised for the 26th edition this year by the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), is an international property award that recognises projects that best embody excellence in all real estate disciplines involved in its creation.
It illustrates concretely the FIABCI ideal of providing society with the optimal solution to their property needs, and this year sees the award being organised for a quarter of a century.
The award is judged in two tiers, first by Judges and then by an Oversight Panel, comprising top real estate professionals and experts from all around the world.
The FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards reward overall merit and not just aesthetics, functionality or size; it therefore represents an outstanding achievement, like what FIABCI World President Kirkor Ajderhanyan says, it creates both efficiency and a higher quality of life; our society, indeed our entire world, benefits from such insightful entrepreneurial endeavours.
FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards is a greater platform to showcase the local excellent development projects from countries all around the world.
It does not only showcase the project itself, but creates a knowledge-sharing platform while the winners get to learn the different development technologies and cultures from other countries.
Over the past 25 years, the awards categories have been increased from four to 14 as a resemblance of the growth of the industry.
The criteria of the judging has been reviewed and revised to reflect the salient points of the category. The weightage of the marks allocated to each criterion indicates the importance of the criteria to the category.
Alexander Romanenko, the President of FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards Committee 2017, says that the awards is one of the most objective and professional competitions around the world.
“FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards is a greater platform to showcase the local excellent development projects from countries all around the world.
“It does not only showcase the project itself, but it creates a knowledge sharing platform as well as the winners get to learn the different development technologies and cultures from other countries.”
Romanenko added that the international property ‘Oscar’ award has inspired national chapters to organise their own local awards, with the Malaysian chapter being the pioneer, followed by other national chapters such as Brazil, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Hungary, Germany, Russia and Baltic Countries in Europe, which create extraordinary synergy around the world, while at the same time promote and acknowledge excellence within their market.
While on the other hand, Kirkor Ajderhanyan, FIABCI World President 2016–2017 when asked about the vision of FIABCI, says the organisation is precise in their “Vision 2020 Roadmap for success” and he believes that together with wisdom and harmony, they can push the walls and move mountains as they build the future while honouring their proud history.
He believes that moving forward to build the future of global real estate industry is not a ‘one man show’, instead it takes global teamwork, whereby the various national chapters join hands to move forward to the same direction and ambition, with dedications and commitment, focusing on concrete solutions and taking necessary steps.
He dares not to claim credit but thank the various units that have worked together to make the 68th FIABCI World Congress and FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2017 a success.
